About Me

My name is Savanna Crowell and I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I graduated from George Mason University in 2022 with a degree in Business Administration and concentration in Marketing. While in college, I was also a student athlete and was a part of the tennis team. I now am based in New York City, my favorite city in the world!

I've been obsessed with traveling and expressing myself through images since I was a little girl. My parents used to be private pilots and took me on my first international trip when I was just 2 months old, so I say I've been obsessed with traveling ever since then. 

 

My passion for solo travel though began more recently, when I went on my first solo trip to Guatemala in 2022 after graduating college. I originally went on my own because I didn't have anyone who could go with me; I was nervous and scared to go by myself but I knew I didn't want to miss out on this experience so I had to go alone. From that trip, I grew so much as an individual, became more confident, and fell in love with solo traveling.

I created this blog to both showcase my adventures around the world and hopefully inspire others to get out there and see the world on their own terms too. I hope my journeys teach you that solo traveling isn't as scary as it seems, open your mind up to new destinations around the world, and show you that sometimes the best things come out of forcing yourself out of your comfort zone.
